Until now, an Augela agent answered from what you had uploaded: documents, policies, price lists. From today it can also check your own systems while it answers, and reply from what is true right now.
Live answers from your data
Ask an agent whether something is in stock, what it costs today, where an order is, or which dates are free, and it can look it up in your system and answer from the result, instead of only from a document that may already be out of date.
Works with any MCP server
MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, is the open standard many software vendors already offer. Connect one server or several in Connectors, under MCP servers. No custom integration needed.
Governed like everything else
- Read-only. Agents can look things up but never change anything.
- Your company decides. The company admin chooses which tools are allowed and which agents may use them, from every agent down to one. Group admins can only restrict further.
- Recorded. Every lookup is saved with the answer and visible in the Review Queue, so a reviewer can see whether the data or the agent was wrong.
- Audited. Every change to who may use what goes into the audit log.
Everywhere the agent works
The same lookups, with the same rules, work in the Augela chat, in Slack, and in the public chat on your website.
One connector, three uses
Each MCP server you connect can serve three ways: its documents as knowledge, its tools in live answers, and its tools as steps in your pipelines.
See it at work
Renteden, which rents construction equipment, uses it in the chat on its website: the chat finds the right machine, answers with the current price and availability, and passes along a pre-filled inquiry from Renteden’s own system. Read the Renteden story, or see how live lookups work.
Available on every plan.
